Chris DeFiori Announced as Chief Operating Officer

With great pleasure, we announce Chris DeFiori’s promotion to Chief Operating Officer (COO) after serving as the General manager of the Case and Tray division since 2021. Chris’s appointment as COO is a testament to his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the organization’s growth and strategic goals. Chris successfully led an operational transformation of the Case and Tray division, resulting in significant divisional improvements. Before joining Velocity, Chris served in multiple commercial and operational roles and has an accomplished background in the medical device industry. As COO, Chris oversees operations supporting our commercial growth strategy. We are excited for Chris’s leadership to continue to transform cross-organizational operations. Take Your Kids to Work Day at Velocity Medtech

Velocity hosted its first annual Take Your Kids to Work Day event! This national event is designed to familiarize kids with the scope of work, expand their thinking capabilities, demonstrate the opportunities and realities of the workplace, and help them understand what their parents do every day. We are excited about the idea of kids, families, and the organization growing together as we host and inspire the next generation with the important work we do at Velocity. The day included facility tours, resume writing, interviews, games, food, prizes, product-making, and more hands-on opportunities. A huge thank you to all who participated!
